Mt. Angeles

Does this peak have a class 2 route from Hurricane Ridge, or are we looking at class 3+?

Re: Mt. Angeles

It's definitely class 3, but pretty short and easy. Make sure you are on the North side before you start using your hands. If it looks like class 4 then you are not in the right place.

Re: Mt. Angeles

Thanks so much for the info. Do you have an idea of the mileage and elevation gain for the trip from Hurricane Ridge?

Re: Mt. Angeles

You are welcome. One way, it's just under three miles and has an elevation gain of just under 1000 feet. Check out my route page if you have not seen it yet.

Beautiful

What a lovely sunset silhouette! I think I remember seeing the rest of the photos that were taken here.

Re: Beautiful

It was really awesome up there that night. This is one you'd be able to do easy. We should head over there as soon as the snow melts. I'd like to show you Royal Basin as well.
