Fourth time up, finally made a second trip to Oxford this time. It was a windy but clear fall day, but not much snow on the trail yet.

Long spring day
Great weather, windy of course. Someone on summit told me the snow conditions reminded him of typical June snow conditions. Made it easier for me :) Headed over to Oxford. 12-hr day with breaks.

Bel/Ox/Miss Combo
From Missouri Gulch TH. Ascended Belford first, over to Oxford, back to Belford, down to Elkhead Pass, down the the trail junction of the standard route for Missouri, summit of Missouri and back to the TH. Great weather all day.

6/20/04 - Standard route, bummed my partner wasn't feeling well and we had to forego Oxford.
6/26/05 - Returned to get Oxford. Standard route.
3/17/12 - An insanely easy winter ascent via the standard route. Drove to the TH. So dry!

The trail is very smooth and there is no talus or scree. This would be a good dog or newbie 14er. I saw four mountain goats.

Tough combo with OxfordThose two make for a hard hike. Like almost 6k vertical?? I was exhausted coming back up the saddle.
