| climbed the snowpacked west gully with kiefer and glen. awesome time climbing a safe couloir in the heart of winter. winds up high made for a miserable summit and descent to 12,800' or so. outside of that, great day! jamie | |

| Hiked all four via Lincoln Amphitheater from Montgomery Reservoir Trailhead with my friend Jason. Although Bross by itself is probably easy, my quads were burning by this time. | |

| Bross seemed the easiest peak of the day. I was very tired and a storm was coming in so we hustled on the trail from Lincoln and summited. Weather was clear when we arrived. High winds. My best friend and I did our usual type trip from Oklahoma. Drive all night, sleep a couple of hours, go for the summit. We had never done more than one 14er on any trip but we decided to give this a whirl. Doing Democrat was the most difficult, we had not time to adjust to the altitude difference from Oklahoma to Colorado so we both felt queezy. Arriving at the summit was great! Completed Cameron, Linclon and Bross glissaded down the face of Bross. Great way to finish. Easy descent. All of these four peaks were done before these were closed recently. | |

| This was my first time climbing Bross. This climb was combined with Lincoln. Most of my climbs of the Lincoln, Democrat & Bross group were from Kite Lake. A couple of the climbs were from the east. | |

| Started at Kite Lake, hiked up to Democrat, traversed over the Cameron, then Lincoln and finally Bross before coming down the western side of Bross back to Kite Lake. If you miss the trail coming down Bross it is a scree field that isn't much fun to come down. Even my Golden Retriever didn't care for that. Otherwise it was a great day. | |

| Last of the 4 for the day. What an awesome ridge! Lots of people descending Bross together made me go further south to the southern most descent trail. This paid off, as we watched dozens of people send rock down on each other, "ROCK," descending the main descent couloir. | |
