I'll second the comment below, this route is quite loose. Scree/sand/mud in the lower part of the couloir is mixed with larger rocks, which come loose easily. Without complete snow cover (probably before mid-June), this route would be dangerous for a group of any size and require a lot of waiting to prevent getting hit by rolling rocks. Crux at the time of my climb was around a big chock stone near the top and certainly seemed to hold a few low class 5 moves. There were a few other challenging moves below the crux and possibly a few others still covered by a small patch of snow at the top of the scree. Fun, interesting climb, but rotten rock. Would probably make for a great late-season ski route.
Rode the mt. bikes into Heather lake with Bill (only way to go) came up from the west ridge after scrambling up west of Overlook. Great view of surrounding ranges, would be fun to return in the spring and climb some of the couloirs.
