Thanks Marc, we were very lucky this day, apparently Mt. Cook spends most of its time hidden by clouds.

I think it is, although to be honest I don't really understand the Mount Cook Alpine Grading System so I'm not sure how difficult. I think the weather's a big determing factor, this part of New Zealand sees a lot of rain.
