...from many angles. And every trip was short. There's not much to this peak, but the poppies in spring are wonderful, and the view NE toward downtown SF and the bridge are quite nice. A clear day is always welcome, but I also like it when it rains.

In town on family trip, got up early on the second day to check off the SF county highpoint. Pretty cool views despite the "hill" status.

Davidson
Drove to San Bruno then BART to Glen Park to Bus #36 to TH to walk to the top. Lots of transportation. Nice little city park and we even got a ride down to our MUNI connection to other tourist activities.
One day in 1999. I was in the area for work. Walked the walk. Having spent a good amount of time in SF in my childhood, I was always fascinated by the hill with the cross on top. Then the world was introduced to the cross, during Inspector Callahan's pursuit of the madman Scorpio. Harry almost got it that night.

Muddy trails
My wife suggested to visit SF, so I took the chance and suggested to climb this peak with the kids. Easy, but don't wear white shoes. No good views from the top because of the trees, but it was cloudy anyway.

Short GetawayUnless your legs are broke you will make it to the top. The peak has a cool cross where I am sure they practiced human sacrifice at one time.

Love the Cross!Views aren't as good as Twin Peaks, but the historical significance of the cross makes this hike worth the trip!
