Date Climbed: September 24, 2005  Sucess!

Drove up to this highpoint. Was okay, nothing spectacular. Lots of fields of corn, and cows in the area. Beer bottles and graffiti thanks to the locals, must have gotten bored with cow-tipping.

Route Climbed: Multiple trails Date Climbed: 8/21/05  Sucess!

2nd time at Mount Davis, 1st time there since I adopted this page. It was a nice day, but pretty hot. All the trails were way too overgrown.

Route Climbed: Drive up and then climb up the tower Date Climbed: April 27, 2003  Sucess!

My wife and I made this our 3rd highpoint. Amish guys in buggys racing on the dirt road to the top. Trees for miles around are dead. Heard that it had to do with the previous years ice storm. If all these trees fall, you'll get a pretty good view even without the tower.

Nice views from the top, at least for PA :-)

Route Climbed: drove, walked 1/4 mile to summit Date Climbed: 9/15/01  Sucess!

Mt. Davis is a big wide mountain, with a long steep drive to the top. I took a highpoint trip to West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Davis was my last one of the day. Nice view for PA Dutch Country, but nothing too special.

Route Climbed: Stairs Date Climbed: September 18, 2002  Sucess!

I did a solo ascent on a gorgeous September day. Fortunately, when I reached the "summit," another climber was there and he was kind enough to take a summit photo of me. Not a bad climb at all, unless you don't like stairs. Views from the top of the tower were...well... I guess as good as you can get in PA.
