Mount Dewey, Sunset

Seen from camp in the basin between Dead Indian Peak's north and northeastern ridges on a snowy morning. Dewey is an unofficial name; the peak is marked simply by an elevation on USGS topo maps.

I still have all the quads from back there from planning trips to Dead Indian that never materialized. I kept trying to visualize what it would look like back there. Now I know--I would have liked it.

	Hasn't voted	Working on a TR about an attempt. We got snowed off last July and will try next year. We were less than two miles from the peak and in plain sight of it. Talk about maddening, and it was a bear getting out there!
