From Ingeborg Lake, Art and I climbed Everly after going cross-country up and over Plummer to get into the Plummer/Everly Lakes basin, and then followed the trail back past Benedict Lake to our camp. Super day!
Register was wet inside- while it dried thoroughly we hung out in the sunshine and admired the awesome view. Tough duty, but you do what needs to be done. Trip report
Did the trail part at a run, which left me exhausted for the climb, but it was a spectacular summit. Found a weather balloon on the slopes. Lots of deadfall and stream crossing made for a tough approach.
"No matter how big a guy might be, Nicky would take him on. You beat Nicky with fists, he comes back with a bat. You beat him with a knife, he comes back with a gun. And you beat him with a gun, you better kill him, because he’ll keep coming back and back until one of you is dead."
