White Mountains (NH/ME)
Sign the Climber's Log
along with Mt. Tom
Date Climbed: Oct 17, 2007
There was some snow on the trail, that made it slippery. The A-Z and Avalon trails are very nice.

Bagged this one along with Tom, a nice area & a very easy hike. It had snowed a foot the day before so it was more interesting.

Second peak on the three peak "loop". Minimal views from the summit, but a nice light hike anyways.

Backpack to Peakbag
Date Climbed: Jul 24, 2002
Late in the day, after traveling to the Whites from NYC I backpacked up the AZ trail and did the entire Willey range, finishing at 9PM. The sunset was spectacular.

Hitchhiked both ways
Date Climbed: Jan 11, 1976
Car wouldn't start down at Notchland so hitched to trailhead. My
companions quit at Field at noon, I went over to Willey and slid down to Ethan Pond Trail, then hitched back to car.

Route Climbed: Mt. Avalon Trail Date Climbed: June 9, 1997
Very nice. Quite a bit of snow still, but mostly firm enough to walk on without breaking through. South to Willey.

Route Climbed: Avalon taril / A - Z Trail Date Climbed: November 22, 2003
Climbed on a day with tons of ice on the trails. It made the descent pretty interesting.
