| until I read my other summit registers! From 2006 Sierra Challenge "Finishing the grand tour of Vogelsang Pk and Mt Florence, I bagged Simmons on my way to Parson's Pass. I would have also climbed Parson's Peak if a thunderstorm hadn't developed." | |

| Went via Vogelsang Pass and up Lewis Creek, bagging Simmons Peak along the way. Had planned to camp at the lakes east of Mount Florence, but afternoon storms kept me below Simmons Peak. Ended up being very scenic regardless. Went up Florence the next day, and out via Florence Creek. | |
