| Garfield is an amazing summit to me ~ being able to look over and see Lafayette, Lincoln and Little Haystack looming in the distance. I had a clear day with spectacular views on the 4th day of our 5 day adventure. We stopped for over an hour on Garfield and had lunch. As promised, I said hello to my friends "Uncle John" whose ashes had been scattered there years ago. | |

| What a fun trail to go on. This peak lacked in challenge but didn't lack in views. The hike up this mountain was probably the easiest ten mile hike I have ever performed. But the view on top was spactucular even with some of the haze. What a winner. | |
