Cool spot for summer  Sucess!

Cool on the summit as it was being whipped by rain. Most of the Pemigewasset was visible underneath the clouds.

Hidden gem  Sucess!

This was the pleasant surprise on my single day twenty mile death march to Zealand and the Bonds. The top is covered with low scrub and it's not quite like any other mountain I have been on in the Whites. Great views too.

Partial Pemi  Sucess!

Loved this whole area. Crossed over the summit of Guyot in dense clouds. A special place....

No Views  Sucess!

Depending on which flat area is the actual summit determines which day I summitted this peak. We left the AT and headed over the Bondcliff trail to Guyot campsite on June 10, 2014 (and hit the southern summit). After spending 2 nights at Guyot campsite, we headed back over the south summit to the AT and then over the northern summit. Both days we got no views as the top was in a cloud.

Pemi loop backpack  Sucess!

Did a Pemi Loop over 2.5 days with a couple of friends. Going counter clockwise, camped at Guyot and Garfield tent sites. Saw an awesome lightning over a town to the north storm from Garfield; got hailed on in a lightning storm on the way out on the last day. Had a bottle of Bowmore with us.

Neat  Sucess!

Although the summit views are not too spectacular, the area is unique between Guyot & the Bonds. An expansive treeless open scrubby area.

twice in a day, right?  Sucess!

I went over Guyot on the way to Mt. Bond, and then had to go over it on the way back to Zealand. It's well worth it.

Fogged in 2  Sucess!

I've done this a few times, once in a loop from the Zealand trail, the other coming from the Twins, and once all the way from Zealand and over the Twins. Twice I was in fog and freezing rain the whole way. Once we had wind gusts that were knocking us over. We ran into large snow drifts on the lee side of Guyot on one trip also, so don't underestimate this small mountain. The Guyout shelter has a few tent platforms. Not much of a view from there though.

Great Climb!  Sucess!

This was part of a great trip across the Pemi as part of the AMC's MLS. The trails and views were outstanding. I highly recommend the route.

Longer Day  Sucess!

Actually did this one twice on our way in the morning from Guyot Campsite to tag Zealand. Hit it on the way over (someone camped on the summit we saw) and back as we were headed then to South Twin.

Mount Guyot  Sucess!

Climbed with South Twin, West Bond, Bond and North Twin via the Twinway Trail from Galehead. Hiked up the ture summit while returning from the Bonds. A truely wonderful mountain with great views and a remote wilderness feeling to it. With 210' of prominence I'm not sure why Guyot isn't an on the 4000' list. Too bad because this is one of the ture gems of the Northeast.

Aborted one-day Pemi-Loop  Sucess!

Managed 29 miles and 6100 vertical feet on a day with wet and muddy trails, intermittent rain, and three shoe-soaking, nerve-rattling stream crossings on the Franconia Brook Trail. Took 15+ hours.
