| Zipped over the double summit on my way to Galehead from Zealand. It was a bit of a long day hike, but the clouds were low and I couldn't see much anyway. | ||

| Day 2 of Franconia to Pinkham. Beutiful alpine plants on the summit. In the clouds wind and rain. No views. | ||

| Summitted Guyot on a beautiful July afternoon after coming over South Twin. Approaching Guyot reminded me of an the english countryside ~ very beautiful. We had a week of lucky weather and beautiful views. | ||

| Don't remember much about this one. We woke on the summit of Galehead to a howling gale, fog, and fresh snow. Trudged over South Twin and humped over Guyot. The much-vaunted views were not in evidence, however, and we made only a brief stop. I'll have to go back in the 'summer' some time for the more benign environment. | ||

| A hurried visit under threatening skies. Made sure to stand on top of both peaks, since I couldn't tell which was higher. Only saw four people (two of whom were friends I'd planned to meet there), but the trails were thoroughly trodden. I'd left my snowshoes at Zealand Falls Hut but was very glad to be wearing my crampons. | ||
