speed ascent due to threathing rain,
solo from the log bridge damm,, up south east ridge to summit,,,, rain on way down hard,,

Climbed with Vince Poore. Awesome day and a beautiful summit. Next up in the area is the Wood/Hague traverse and Mystic Equinox Tower!

From Island Lake
Camped just across log bridge at Island Lake and started 6am to beat the frequent and notorious storms. Bagged summit at 10:49am and headed down at 11:30 while thunderstorms were making noise in the distance. Climbed with my friend Matt who was 200 yards ahead of me the whole way and spurred me to my fastest climb of a Beartooth 12er yet. Thanks Matt. Somehow we were blessed to avoid the rain drops all the way back to the car by 7pm.
