| kinda tough to find the summit. started at dawson saddle, took that to the pct and along the windy gap ridge. summit was anticlimactic but the area leading up to it is beautiful...and windy! | |

| I once spent the night on top of Throop Peak. The next morning I hiked down to Mt Hawkins and then returned to Throop and the car at Dawson Saddle. I remember I really liked the view from Hawkins, it really did have a great Baldy view. | |
