9 Peak Day
Heather and I parked below Windy Gap at 7am and then hiked up Baden-Powell, Burnham, Throop, Hawkins, Middle Hawkins, and Islip. We got back to the car at 2pm and then drove around hiking up Akawie, Winston, and Lewis. The next day we did both summits of Twin Peaks as well as Waterman.

Great hike, but....
Missed summit due to beginner's silliness. I was unsure where the top was and failed to bring a topo map. Hike was still well worth it.
Over Throop en route to Copter Ridge with Lewis after. Nice 7-hour day.

anticlimactic
kinda tough to find the summit. started at dawson saddle, took that to the pct and along the windy gap ridge. summit was anticlimactic but the area leading up to it is beautiful...and windy!
out and back from islip saddle to baden-powell. 17 miles rt with 3800' gain. baden-powell, burnham, throop, and hawkins.

Starting at Islip Saddle, tagged Throop first, then Hawkins Middle Hawkins and Islip and done! Icy trails conditions on the lower section, then no need from crampons cuz there was barely any snow!!!!
