| Did Heizer in a snow storm and couldn't see anything from the summit. Will have to go back someday. This makes for a great workout to combine Heizer with Esther. Plenty of vertical from Chipita Park! | |

| What a lovely day this was! While COS was socked in with fog, the Pikes Peak area was a mix of blue sky and puffy snow clouds. While the short hike was in the sun the entire time, we did have that strange mix of "the sun is out but I'm getting snowed on". I didn't see a soul - had the mountain to myself! Hiking partner: Solo. Dog: Lela. | |
