| I have been on this a few times,but this time we had it all to ourselves. It was 10 pm with 60 mph driving wind and blasting snow. 31 miles in we had only 3 more summits to cross before heading out. We didnt stay long,but Lincoln to me was always one of NH finest summits along with Lafayette | |

| Summit #4 in a traverse from Flume over to Garfield. I remember starting to get a little tired after passing over Lincoln. Reminded me a little of hiking in SE Alaska along ridgelines. | |

| Hiked the classic Little Haystack, Lincoln, Lafayette. The first time was cloudy and rainy. Did it a little under a year later and was graced with a perfect day with almost no crowds. | |

| Did a Pemi Loop over 2.5 days with a couple of friends. Going counter clockwise, camped at Guyot and Garfield tent sites. Saw an awesome lightning over a town to the north storm from Garfield; got hailed on in a lightning storm on the way out on the last day. Had a bottle of Bowmore with us. | ||

| Second summit of the day (Liberty was first and Lafayette was third). Great view from the summit which was nice because the weather got fickle by the time I hit Lafayette. | |

| This was another 5000+ peak we reached on our Franconia Ridge loop. We packed my son's backpack with all his gear and did this day hike to see what's working and what's missing of his gear, in preparation for his West Coast Trail hike trip later that month. | Have hiked this many times as Lafayette, Lincoln, little Haystack. In June 1994 we did it a little different, going up the Slide trail on Flume, all the way to Lafeyette and all the back, descending Liberty. Long day. | |

| Blue skies, windy, and cold. Perfect for the last official full day of winter. This was the second mountain summit reached after a counter-clockwise hike of the ridge loop. Had to use wind goggles and crampons for the ridge itself. A bit icy in some spots | |
