| I liked Mt. Magazine. It was a pain to get there from Paris, AR, because of all this stupid construction going on. But met some folks up at the top there, and we all talked for awhile. State Highpoint #20 for me. | |

| From Cove Lake north of Magazine it is an 11 mile hike. Wonderful day, good weather. My only worry; deer hunters. Ran out of memory in camera, so no photos. | |

| This was my fourth highpoint. I competed in a triathlon that morning near Arkadelphia, and worried that I might be too tired to hike this trail. Well it's only 1.5 miles, and not overly difficult. Arkansas is very pretty. | |

| I originally adopted this page, but finally reached the summit on May 23rd, 2005. The summit was not too exciting, but certainly a pretty area in general. It was rainy and it cleared up enough for a dry summit run. | |

| The beauty of this part of Arkansas surprised me. I had no idea. This park has many nice hikes and overviews. The summit is very cozy. As a silly/stupid sidenote, THE SIMPLE LIFE with Paris Hilton & Nicole Ritchie was filmed close to here (Ozark, Paris, and Altus, Arkansas). Hard to imagine those two in this area for a whole month! | |

| It is my first highpoint. The fog was so thick; visibility was only about 30 feet. Light rain but a warm day nonetheless. Unfortunately, I missed the views from the cliffs. | |
