Route Climbed: From Arc Pass Date Climbed: July 3, 2005
Dayhike out of the Meysan Lakes TH, climbing Irvine first and then this one afterwards via the standard route, which is described well by Secor--it turned out to be surprisingly easy class 3 considering how intimidating the peak looks from Irvine. Didn't find the summit register, but I probably didn't look hard enough under the truly enormous cairn that's been built on top of this peak. Cool views and a nice scramble.

A very worthwhile climb up a beautiful peak. Got to watch the sunset from the summit before scrambling down the W. Chute to bivy at U. Crabtree lake. Nice way to wrap up a long day- left TH at 9 climbed Leconte, Mallory & McAdie.
