Isn't McGloughlin 30 miles away? What kind of camera did you use to get such great detail, zoom, focus, and resolution?

Thank you. I used a Nikon Coolpix 8700, as well as a polarizing filter for this shot. Part of it was using my camera's built in digital zoom as well.

While mindlessly checking out various photos, not paying attention to where I was, I saw this image in thumb and thought to myself....'oh, I wonder if this is one of those South American vulcans in Patagonia'.....gad, ol Mt Pitt aka McGlaughlin!
