TheWolfIsLooseSide Trip From Huntington Ravine  Sucess!

We added Monroe after ascending Mount Washington via Huntington Ravine. It's a nice little trek over from Washington that provides a bit more solitude and some nice views from the top.

Did this as part of a long hike up Mount Adams, Jefferson, Monroe, and Madison. I don't remember the order, just that my buddy Chris and I were exhausted at the end of the day and having to stop to make some food in the dark because I was so hungry.

Cold but beautiful day with a little wind. The four of us broke trail all the way to the hut. Hardest hike I've done in a long time!

Did Monroe after the big "W", hiked basically blind from Washington to Monroe, and back to Washington. A great grandfather was my guide, met him on the hill, if he didn't know the way I wouldn't have bagged it. Thanks kind sir, wish u would have accepted more than a granolo bar and a handshake.

This peak was an easy climb after the more difficult northern peaks on the north to south traverse. It had nice views.

Part of a north-to-south presi traverse dayhike, Madison to Webster. Great conditions until just before the Mizpah hut, at which point there was some lightning and hail.

It's a short hike from Lakes of the Clouds. I climbed it to watch the sunset, and then ran back down with my headlamp on.
