| It was cloudy when we got up in Salida. Forecast called for 50% chance of afternoon rain. I was sure it was going to rain. Made it to Monarch Pass by 6:30 a.m. and were on the summit around an hour later. Turned out to be a very beautiful mountain. I am glad I went there. Clouds went away. | |
