Some good autumn climbing. Banded and Outlaw seem like fun mountains too.

Our colors have gone ballistic Desain. Heading down to Waterton NP on Tuesday for a couple. Should be even more grand.

There is a traverse that does Mount Glasgow, Mount Cornwall, Banded Peak and Outlaw Peak with one bivy required. It is best that one party bike in one direction and meet another so you can each ride out the others bike. I will try and put this in next year. Pvalchev has done it, sounds like a nice trip. Thanks!

Maybe we could climb something together next summer ? I'm headed your way and it looks like you'll have the same day off as well.

I just told Bor it's always nice to check out his new pages as the quality is so high. Same with your pages - always of a very high standard.

I was curious about the horsshoe like range, thinking it might somehow resemble some of the Dolomite Groups which were former atolls in a shallow inland sea. I looked at the SP Map Generator by D Smith and found that the coordinates you give ar right in the middle of a valley. On the other hand I may get the relief thing wrong - the green patches should be the valleys, right?

Maybe you want to look for yourself (hoping this will work:

Coordinates are right...it is a horseshoe Gangolf, opens to the east, closed to the west.

Thanks for your vote.

Thanks Courtney and thanks for the Utah info. If you find any more beta on Spry, please send it my way. I would do a 5.6 solo and take a rope for rappels if I had solid route beta. I could not find anything quickly on line either. Will check out the book shops. Cheers.

Great page, as usual. Careful, now, or you're going to climb all the peaks near Canmore! ;-)
