Rundle like Shuksan is a very popular subject with thre camera. Good page with routes info and good pix.

It appears to be Zeus giving birth to Athena!

added one photo to the traverse route....it did not have any, wish it did...I mean, like real route photos...someday I will get it done, prob solo though so I can move...but I will shoot a 100 shots...this route would be done more if people had more confidence in the beta, cheers

Rundle in Feb

I'm looking to do this route this coming February. Any special considerations or precautions? I'm figuring on snowshoes down low and crampons / axe up high. Looking to get an early start. Is the route well defined in the dark?

Re: Rundle in Feb

Hi Its very slabby and with snow cover aside from a few cairns you will be picking the route. If its not too icy and you are experience you should do OK. Why do in the dark. would be my question unless you are doing a very early start. The first part is well defined trail (long). If the weather is good it should go ok.

Thanks

Awesome, thanks. I'm not the fastest due to some creaky knees, so I was looking at an early start. Wanted to leave lots of time to get up and down before dark.
