| Dean | Napa county highpoint ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 20, 2008 | |
| My wife and I were heading south when I decided to go for Mt. St. Helena and the Napa county highpoint. Today was pretty hot but overall this is basically a roadwalk. Several workers were installing some new stuff near the highpoint. Still, it was over 9 miles so a good workout. Will go after Vaca Peak in the a.m. and Copernicus after that before we head to Ventura and a visit with my wife's relatives. | ||

| Was the first one up the mountain on a warm Memorial Day Sunday. Excellent views of the Napa valley. Make sure you visit the Napa county hp to the south! Lots of people coming up on my way down. | ||

| 96avs01 | Consolation Prize ![]() Date Climbed: Apr 19, 2008 | |
| Originally planned to be on Casaval today, but conditions and forecast for Shasta did not cooperate. So, decided to go for a quick dayhike with the GF. Approximately 3 hours CTC, with decent views but hazy conditions and lots of people somewhat spoiled our fun. | ||

| SFMountaineer | Napa Highpoint ![]() Date Climbed: Jan 12, 2008 | |
| I made it to the Napa Highpoint, but because the summit was completely enclosed in the clouds, my motivation to make it to the summit dwindled as I was a bit sick of walking in the fog. I resolved to return to the main summit on a clear day, now that I've bagged the county HP. Edit: I forget the date but I did return to the true summit at a later time. | ||

| hikerbryan | Nice hike ![]() Date Climbed: Jan 20, 2005 | |
| Nice, though a little boring, hike to the summit. Many high points to explore once you're on the top. The radio towers are a little ugly, but I think there is at least one on every peak and ridge in the Bay Area. | ||

| bigbendbetty | Fun ![]() Date Climbed: Apr 13, 2007 | |
| It was a very clear day. I could see Shasta, Lassen and I believe the Sutter Buttes. The views made up for the radio tower on top. The first mile of the hike was really pretty as well. | ||

| Chris Doig | Superbowl Sunday ![]() Date Climbed: Feb 4, 2007 | |
| Hiked up with my cohp buddy Jeff. We were first on trail and made it home in time for the kickoff. Saw lots of people on the way down! The first mile of this hike is excellent single track. We enjoyed the fire road portion too as the views of napa valley are excellent. Hazy up top but saw, Cobb, Diablo, Tam, Lassen and Snow mtns. I'll do it again for conditioning. | ||

| Michael Perry | Great views, bad parking ![]() Date Climbed: Jan 20, 2007 | |
| Reasonably quiet hike, took a little over 2 hours to reach the North Peak summit. Summit was very windy and pretty cold. Views were great, though pretty hazy. Could easily see Cobb and Mt. Diablo. Barely visible were the snow-capped Sierras and the SF skyline. Luckily I got to the mountain early, cause the parking along 29 is packed by mid-day, and a pain to get out of sometimes. | ||
