Alpenglow on Mount Shasta from just below Point 9,365. Avalanche Gulch looks expansive from this angle. The gully of Avalanche Gulch proper runs is obvious from here. Note the dark area in the gully on the far left. This is a hidden, meadow-banded cascade that is audible from Green Butte Ridge. Sept2012.
