| Drove up to the Galena Saddle and hiked the short distance to the peak and then over to Galena Peak. It was cold (13 degrees) and windy. | |

| Hiked Oreana, Siegel and Galena Peaks from Red Canyon. The view of the Sierra and Great Basin Peaks is awesome. There was still a fair amount of snow due to the late season storms we've had but nothing major. The Pine Nuts are really quite nice. If one were inclined, I think driving most of the way to the summit of these peaks is possible given the good condition of the Jeep roads. | |

| From Red Canyon, reached the summits of Oreana Peak, Galena Peak, and Mount Siegel. Much of the snow had melted. We only had a few patches to deal with. | |
