| Just did this in May, went back to put the register book in a plastic bag. Clouds rolled in about 11am, completed the task and ran from lightning back to Mosq.Flat. | |

| Tried the South East face in March and backed off , too much snow, went up the South face May 29 and backed off, and went around through Mono Pass May 30. Placed an ammo can and log at the high point and searched the ridge from the south to the low point in the north for an existing log and could not find it. Probably hidden by snow. | |

| 10/95: Took some friends from work to Little Lakes Valley for fishing. Fishing was poor, so we scrambled up to Mt. Starr . 6/04: Climbed with 11 yr. old son Charlie (who i had a hard time keeping up with!) | |

| Yes, a great time with Dave (see below). Not sure what Southeast Chute of Ruby Wall Dave is referring to. We climbed the northeast slopes to the ridge and went above Ruby Wall to Ruby Peak. We'll get that last part between Ruby Peak and Mt. Mills next go around! Trip Report | |

| Bob Burd and I did this peak as part of the Ruby Wall Traverse (Starr, Mono Pass, Southeast Chute of Ruby Wall, Ruby Peak). Left the trail about 1/4 mile from the start of the trailhead and headed straight for the summit. Forced in a tad bit of 4th class in the talus field above. Our plan was to climb to Mt. Mills but we fell behind on our schedule. Still got in some spectacular 5th class soloing on Ruby Wall. | |

| Beautiful hike up Little Lakes Valley. Actually did this hike on my honeymoon...wife was sick, and since I was in the neighborhood it seemed a fairly easy peak to bag. Great views and some nice fall colors. | |

| Spent the night at Ruby lake. I took my dog with me she did great until the pass. I was able to coax her about 3/4 of the way up and she fizzled on me. So no summit. I did meet a group of friends coming out from Fourth Recess. To much scrambling for a dog! | |

| Great little trip. Ran up to the pass. Scrambled to the top for great views and back to the pass. Had a nice run back down to Mosquito Flat. A fun little peak that doesn't take long. | |

| I have climbed this one several times. A nice side trip in or out of Fourth Recess. This is a scramble from the saddle on up. The view is worth it. | |
