| Started near Brainard Lake, took the Niwot Cutoff to Long Lake and then up to Pawnee Pass. From there headed up to the summit of Pawnee Peak, and down to the saddle between Pawnee and Toll. The south slope of Toll looked a lot steeper than it actually turned out to be. Headed back to the Pawnee-Toll saddle and then headed down to Blue Lake. | |

| traversed from Pawnee on a nice tour de Brainerd Lake loop. My buddy drove a golf ball off the summit, probably flew 500 yards+. Just another enjoyable day in the IPW. Need to get back to ski that face if they ever open that f'ing gate! My bike was stolen so I'm at the mercy of its opening, hiking an extra couple miles on a paved road in either AT boots or AT boots weighing down my pack is no way to spend a day in the backcountry. I'm sorry, its just not, too much else to do in this state that doesn't involve paved roads. | |

| Added Toll to the day after Audubon & Paiute via the nw face in a minor snowstorm. There's only a few class 3 moves to be had on this route and I was fine with that as the rock was slick. Continued on to Pawnee. | |

| A very full day. From the Brainard Lake winter closure we climbed one of Little Pawnee's north couloirs, traversed to Pawnee, and then finishied it off with a fun, moderate snow climb up Toll's SE face. | |

| Still lots of snow to be had on the route. Cloudy day kept the snow pretty hard, even icy in spots! Axe/crampons necessary on the snowfield, but plenty of exposed rock to get around if you don't have them. Climbed on good snow from Blue Lake to about 200 ft below summit. Last 100 ft of snow is thinning and started punching through. Great day. Fun glissade! | |
