Mount Tom And The White Glacier

The northeast face of Mount Tom (7076 feet) is completely covered by the White Glacier. On the right is "Janus" (5923 feet) Down below, the curved valley bottom is an indicator that this glacier was much larger in past times. Photographed July 5, 2011.

Love the view. The peak on the right is Janus. I'd love to get up there someday for sure. Congrats on a difficult summit. I've choses to make this the feature shot for my Olympic Range page. Worthy candidate!

I'm headed out to the Olys next week. Wish you the best of climbing this summer.
