| Took Williams LakeTrail up to summit of Wheeler, then passed over Mt. Walter on the way down Bull of the Woods. Reached summit about 9:00 AM. Cold and windy with drifting snow, though wind did subside. Great views. | |

| I began around 7 am...met up with a group of great guys around 8 who had left a little earlier than me. I made friends quickly, and while they lost one hiker, I picked up his spot. The wind was ruthless, but we made it just the same. | |
