| Clear skies, warm weather. Last real weekend of summer, and this was a bit of a slog. Looking forward to a winter ascent. | ||

| Another "one'n'dun". Much better peaks in the area for less effort. | ||

| Cold, snowy day. No snowshoes. Took almost 5 hours to make the summit from the car due to a lot of trail-breaking thru hip deep snow. No views. | ||

| It was a beautiful sunny day but slushy snow was on the trail from about 3 miles on and off up to the top. We took it slow and easy, endured some post holing and scary parts and were rewarded with the amazing views at the top. We saw just 8 other people the whole 9 hours we were on the trail.Awesome day! http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150282180578109.380393.547133108&l=3bd115d6de | ||

| One retired, two unemployed, and me (midweek days off). Headed up in delightfully fresh, dry snow. Super-sunny and lovely. Drank beers at the top -- actually the knob just below the top, looking out at Rainier. Didn't need our axes or snowshoes. Nice. | ||

| Summer trail to summit of Mt Washington mid week. Total absence of people on this trip. No bugs though! Guess it got too cold for em. | ||

| WeatherMan | Low snow year. ![]() Date Climbed: Feb 25, 2010 | |
| Night hiking with hardly any snow except at the very top above 3,800'. Lights of NB below lit up the scene a bit. Nice way to spend a Thu night. | ||

| Boonie1 | Snow level 3020' ![]() Date Climbed: May 8, 2010 | |
| 5 to 6 feet of snow at the summit. Snow was firm enough to stay on top of without any post-holing. Made for a quick descent as I heel stepped and boot skated on top of it. | ||

| good times in big snow. no glissade opportunities here but a good looking alpine ridge for such a close peak. 100 times more interesting than going to tiger mountain even on a bad day. | ||

| I was fairly ill during this hike but managed to summit with my friend Kyle. Probably the most painful hike ever, thank you diarrhea. | ||

| Kyle Bissell | North Ridge ascent ![]() Date Climbed: Jan 15, 2007 | |
| Left the TH at 07:40 and reached the summit by 11. Lower trail previous to the "owl hike spot" was extremely monotonous, but once the snow deepened up it became more interesting. Views from the North Ridge are excellent and I'd highly recommend this route. | ||

| Garen and I reached the summit at 4 pm and were rewarded with a spectacular view of Mount Rainier. There were a lot of marmot burrows on the top but we were being too loud to see one of them pop up. What a long walk... | ||
