Route Climbed: Pinnacle Gully Date Climbed: January 09, 2004  Sucess!

Should have brought my snowboard. It's to bad this is the best the east coast has as far as mountains go.

Route Climbed: Huntington Ravine Date Climbed: Early June,2005  Sucess!

Started Early made it to the link in no time. One of the hottest times in history for NH. Got totally baked in the ravine, peeling weeks after. Very long approach due to heat. Took crag trail to road and walked last mile to summit by road. Usual tourists on top.

Very slippery w/light rain. Fun time. Couldn't see much from the top, although it was still a good feeling. 2nd state high point.

Route Climbed: Amoonosic Ravine Trail Date Climbed: June 19, 2005  Sucess!

Longest and tallest and steepest hike I've ever been on. Dampering to start because I have never seen the mountain until we reached the summit. Once we reached the top, it was amazingly beautiful! Couldn't have asked for nicer hike. Beautiful with clouds moving fast and then leaving the mountain completely. Fun and memorable day with my boyfriend, Britt, and sister, Kami.

Route Climbed: Ammonoosuc Ravine Date Climbed: June 19, 2005  Sucess!

Absolutely gorgeous day! Started off in the clouds with clearing once we reached the summit of Monroe. Then we were back in the clouds and the summit hung over top. After reaching the summit everything cleared out and we had awesome views everywhere. This was about as perfect a day you could ask for on this mountain. I summitted with my girlfriend Nicolle and her sister Kami for my second summit of this mountain.

Route Climbed: Road Date Climbed: June 10 2005  Sucess!

Very bad weather on the way up but clear at the top. We had an excellent view of a rainbow stretching over Mt. Adams. An excellent finish to our annual trip to New England!

Route Climbed: The Right Gully Date Climbed: March 15, 2003  Sucess!

I was racing against a storm up the Right Gully. The top of it was filled with ice which made for some dicey climbing. The summit was covered in an ice fog. Since the storm hit, I went out the Lions Head. I got to experience some of Mount Washington’s ferocity first had. I saw one climber get blown off of his feet on the way out, fortunately he was not injured. I wound up being covered head to toe in ice but dry as a bone beneath my GORE-TEX.

Route Climbed: Tuckerman's via AMC Lodge Date Climbed: September 25, 2004  Sucess!

(sorry for the late post)

Though the top feels like Disney world, it is a great climb. After a couple hours in the wild, up the difficult mountain, I knew I was near the top when I heard the ba-beep of a car being unlocked. I couldn't see any cars because I was under the ridge, so it was kinda freaky. Be prepared though. Some tough weather awaits you.

Route Climbed: usually Tuckerman or Lion's Head Date Climbed: several times

This mountain has been the grand challenge of many summer seasons. Trying to do it as a day trip from Boston is not easy, traffic stinks and the mountain is just plain big.

My only attempt to climb it as an overnight trip didn't work out for me, the story is here
