| After summiting Ellinor two weeks ago, I wanted to take a look at Washington. Ascended to about 4500' on the standard route, but turned back due to weather and extremely hard snowpack. I'll definitely be back later this year. | |

| Done this one 2 times. First one I did the Ellinor to Washington traverse, but don't remember when due to the deleted page... probably around 2005-7. Just went up again via the standard route and it was intense! Crazy vertical "trail" with some good scrambling. I loved it. Great hike, but not an easy one or one for novices. | |

| Departed trailhead at 1300 and got to the summit at 1600. Mt Ellinor has been closed since 3 July due to aggressive mountain goats. I didn't see any goats on my way up. Good route, route finding was a bit tricky, and exposure on the summit block. | |

| Did the traverse from Ellinor to Washington via the ridge most of the way. had to drop down a few times. met up with route 1 near the summit. AMAZING traverse. | |

| It was a long day, but Gimpilator and I were successful summiting both Mount Ellinor and Mount Washington... and we descended Mount Ellinor prior to Mount Washington rather than attempting the gnarly rockclimb traverse. SIDE-NOTE: It is dumb that the original SP page was deleted without notice. Photos and TRs were lost. I will try to find mine. | |

| Redwic and I started with Ellinor, contemplating the traverse. When we saw that it didn't look good, we descended to the road and climbing Washington from the standard route. With hardly any research or route information, it's a wonder that we found our way up Washington. 5700+ feet of total gain. What a day! | |

| If I remember correctly, this page was owned by Shredzer. There seems to be no trace of him now. It's a real jerk move to delete your pages rather than give them up for adoption. | |

| Climbed Washington at least 4 times with varying levels of success. I am still exploring the various diverse faces of the peak that see less traffic than the standard routes. | |

| With a bunch of friends from work so good or bad weather, we were going up. Turned out to be bad so no views. Just found some slides of my climb...looks like we had goats with us on the summit. | |
