| Climbed this twice back in the 90's and this would now be my 3rd summit. Hit the snowline about a mile from the Baldy saddle- and the final ascent to the summit was quite icy and reasonably dangerous. Pics and commentary are here. | |

| Great day hike with my wife. Via Old Baldy trail. Plenty of sun and heat, but a nice breeze throughout the day. Secret to my success... carrying my own shade. My third trip to the summit. My wife's first trip, unfortunately she had knee pain the whole way down. She is amazing. | |

| Climbed with my brother over Christmas vacation the day after Mt. Lemmon. A light dusting of snow/ice up the last part but a very nice and well-built trail. Phenomenal views at the top with the clouds swirling all around us! The next day it snowed about 1-2 feet, so we got up there just in time...... | |

| Great hike! Great trail- amazing trail work! A warm December day and nice climbing conditions. Didn't have our trekking poles but my wife & I had no problems- the switch backing makes this 4,000 + ft vertical rise relatively moderate on both the ascent & descent. In fact, we passed 9 hikers & probably four were in their 70s! | |

| Visiting a friend in Tucson, we went and hiked this on a warm day. Calm, sunny and nearly 70 degrees on the summit, with great views up there. | |

| I have admired this peak from a distance for years. It was a joy to finally visit this summit. The views are truly jaw dropping. The wind that day was pretty amazing, too, and also the 84 year old fellow summitting the peak with us, hiking like a 30 year old. I LOVE these fit southern AZ retirees! | |

| My first southern AZ hike (on a nice day anyway), and I was quite impressed! It was in the 30s/40s the entire way up, with a few small patches of snow on the ground and ice in the pines. Besides being a bit hazy, summit views were perfect. Felt easier to hike than the 4000' gain would have you believe! | |

| A perfect day - 103 in Tucson and about 70 on the top of Wrightson when we summited. Took our time and about 60 pics - 4 hrs up and 2 1/2 hrs down. My all time favorite in south AZ. | |

| Most of my recent outings have been of the bushwhacking type so this one offered a nice change. Ran up Old Baldy trail in preparation for a late summer race. The switchback section was certainly difficult to run. | ||

| A spectacular hike. My favorite in Arizona so far. I started early and was in shade all day. Wildflowers and wildlife were abundant, I saw 5 deer on the trail. Round trip, taking my time and lots of pictures, took me 5.5 hours. Great hike! | |

| Up the Old Baldy and down the Super trail. Tons of flowers at the Baldy Saddle. Sad to go thru the burn area around the backside, looks like the top of the Gardner canyon trail is toast, literally. Again, stellar views at the top, not as hazy as usual. | |

| Hiked from Gardner Canyon with my family, the Jones family, and Edward Earl. Jane was a bit under motivated, but finally sped up when we spied the top. I'd been up a couple times before in 1970+-. Good views from sharp, bald top. | |
