| Camped at a lake below Lake Marjorie the 2nd night of a 5-day trip in the area with my bother. Came in and out from Taboose Pass, this was the only day we really saw anyone, soooo many people on the JMT. Up Wynne from Pinchot Pass. Perfect CA weather each day, bagging Striped, Goodale, Cardinal, Wynne, Pinchot, Arrow, and Pyramid during the trip. | ||

| Summited via West Ridge from Pinchot Pass. Fun. A little loose, but nice big blocks to play on, and you can make it as difficult or easy as you like. I kept the difficulty down, as I was mostly interested in speed. (Took 40 mins from the Pass for me). Interestingly, I was climbing this at 8AM or so, and the sun was shining directly in my eyes the whole time (while looking up the ridge). Very difficult to do good route-finding! | ||

| First ones up for the year. Climbed with my friend Doug via Armstrong Canyon, camping on a high ridge just N of Perkins on the Crest. Climbed Pinchot - Wynne - Perkins on the same day. A near-perfect outing. The connecting ridge was lots of fun - but do be careful about the loose rock! Full winter conditions beyond the Sierra Crest, but overall, low snow year made for a lot of rock showing and crappy snow. | ||

| Pinchot-Wynne dayhike out of the Taboose Creek TH--a very enjoyable day revisiting an area I backpacked through a few years previously. The traverse from Mt. Pinchot was fun along the very crest of the connecting ridgeline, but the rock is terribly loose if you drop down from the spine at all. | ||
