| not a climb, a hike up a well maintained trail. summit is nothing special. lots of anchors for climbing though and a ton of potential for trad and top roping. | |

| I decided to hike Mount Zion because of its low elevation. The weather was not good on the higher peaks this day. When we did get to the top the fog rolled in as usual. | |

| Once with the wife and kids on a soggy Father's Day and once again on a crisp, clear Christmas Eve. Easy peak to stretch the legs on. | |

| Took the longer Dead Fall trail on the way up, not very much snow till quite a bit higher up. Had a fun little "picnic" on the summit then made our way down the shorter standard route. When we got back to the car we realized how early it was and opted to do Mount Walker too. | |

| A bunch of us decided to try the Dead Fall trail on Zion which is longer and harder than the standard way. It was a lot more interesting and a bit more challenging. Afterward, Robbin and Skylar and I still had some energy so we drove over to Mount Walker and hiked that one too. | |

| I found the standard route from the main parking lot to be a little bit of a let down. What should I expect from a 4278 foot peak right? Actually, I went north along the ridge beyond the summit and found some interesting rocks and exposure. I ran down in about 23 minutes. | |
