A mountain goat is a metaphorfor all that is lacking in the human spirit.
When Mountain Goats die, they don't stop being Mountain Goats. They continue to climb to a higher plain; a mountain goat's "heaven" where the snow is always deep, the route is always steep AND the mountains are
higher than any mountains here on Earth.
