Overview

Antone Mountain is a mountain located in Merck Forest & Farmland Center in Southern Vermont. The peak is the tallest on the property at 2600ft and is officialy part of the Northern Taconic Mountain range. There are great views of southern Vermont mountains and farmland from a ledge near the summit.

Red Tape

Merck Forest & Farmland Center is a non-profit environmental education organization, open 7 days a week, all year long, dawn to dusk. Admission is free, but donations are accepted at the visitor center. Trail system is open for hiking, snow-shoeing and cross country skiing. A full list of forest guidelines can be found here

Camping

Camping is by permit only. There are also rustic cabins/lean-to's available for rental on the property. Camping information available here
