The charm of the glorious scenery of the Vigolana has been conserved intact over time.
A crown of mountains, the calcareous massifs of the Vigolana, sorround wide stretches of greenery and woods of Austrian and scotch pine, larch and beech. Anemones, cyclamens, illies of the valley and rhododendrons lend their fragance to the undergrowth; honey from blossoms and trees in the woods.
the first snowfalls bring the moment to race down ski slopes. Vigolana has an average altitude of 2330 meters obove the sea level. it's in a particulary sunny position and affords splendid panoramas over Valsugana and the Valley of adige and the central and Oriental alps
Nature has been particularly kind to this area; thick woods, flowery meadows, crystal clear waters, rich flora and fauna on the mountains, fertile fields and hills that enjoy both sunshine and beautiful viws. The Autonomous Province of Trento has taken steps to protect the environment so if you genuinely love nature, respect and take care to observe the regulations in force.

Mountain Vigolana is situated at south of Trento^s basin where flow the Adige river. At south of the Vigolana there is the Folgaria Plateau and Lavarone, in the noth Sorda valley. The montain is located at south west of the Caldonazzo lake, one of the most beatiful lakes of the Alps.

Getting There

By car: The nearest motorway exits are: A22 Brennero motorway-Rovereto Nord or Trento Centro and A31 Valdastico motorway-Piovene Rocchett
by bus: Trentino Plateau are linked to Trento, Rovereto and Vicenza by a permnent bus service.
For Trentino the area is served by Atesina Bus Companies. Timetables are available on-line. For Veneto the area is served by FTV Society (Ferrovie Tramvie Vicentine-Tel. 0444.223115).

By plane:The nearest airports are: Bolzano 91 km far, Verona 107 km far, Treviso "San Giuseppe" 122 km far, Venice "Marco Polo" 142 km far
when you are in plateau of Vigolana, you start from the Sindech village sent./path 442.
from rifugio Paludei through Frisanchi village. sent. 442 and 432
you have to reach rifugio Casarotta refuge then turn right to Filadonna's Peak.
with the same Path u can reach the top of Vigolana
3 hours by foot.
athers some paths from Val d'adige: from Matarello path n:447 to Becco di Ceriola 1936 meters, here u can follow the path n.434 and 450 to Top of the Vigolana and to Filadonna Peak.
if u follow path n.446 go to a farmer call Malga Palazzo, if u go along this path turn left u reach an ather peak call Cornetto.
another path start from Trento in Novaline Village, path n.446 , to Derocca farm and go along u reach Vigolana refuge.
during the climb there are not difficulties only near filadonna peak where the path go up very hard and cut your breath and yours legs.
