Overview

The high point of Maputo Province, is not really a mountain, in fact it's more of a hill. Not impressive or difficult but there is some fun bouldering and toproping to be done on it's flanks. From the top you can see mountains in Swaziland and across some lush Mozambican valleys.

Getting There

Map 1

Map 2
From Maputo head to Namacha. Go through Namacha until you hit the Boarder Post. Stay on the Mozambican side and head north along the boarder for a few kilometers. You will see a hill that has several exposed rock faces on it. You can hike across the fields and up this hill or drive up the private driveway a little further on.

Red Tape

None, just look out for landmines.

Camping

You could but there is really no reason to. You can easily make this trip in a day and be back in a big city enjoying nice accomidations that night.
