Kom Vasojevicki (2461 m) |
When you approaching to KOMOVI massif from the N, coming on Stavna vast plateau, your first attention will attrack one impressive peak on the left. That's Kom Vasojevicki (2460 m), the largest and most eastern peak of KOMOVI massif. Together with Kom Kucki (2487 m), Stari Vrh (2483 m) and Kom Ljevorijecki (2469 m), Vasojevicki Kom (2460 m) belong to the group of highest and most impressive peaks of KOMOVI. Vasojevicki Kom is surrounded by beautiful vast plateau Stavna on N, by Bavan (2252 m) and beautiful Carine plateau on the S, by Kom Kucki (2487 m), Stari Vrh (2483 m), Kom Ljevorijecki (2469 m) and Rogamski Vrh (2303 m) on SW, and by Zeletin (2112 m) and Visitor (2211 m) on E. Between Kom Vasojevicki and Kom Kucki and Kom Ljevorijecki is placed beautiful valley with its Medjukomlje (2171 m) pass.

Summit ViewThe summit of Kom Vasojevicki (2460 m) offer many beautifully panoramas. Two of them are most impressive - W view to Kom Kucki (2487 m) and its neighbour Kom Ljevorijecki (2469 m), and S view to giant and amazing PROKLETIJE range. But also, you can be the privileged whitness of incredible beauty of Tara Canyon placed belowe/between peaks of MORACKE PLANINE (2226 m) and SINJAJEVINA (2287 m). Finally, behind them, in the background, you will see magnificent DURMITOR range with its two highest peaks Bobotov Kuk (2523 m) and Bezimeni Vrh (2487 m) which touch the sky.

 Ascent on Kom Vasojevicki (2460 m)  Below Kom Vasojevicki (2460 m)
The route to Vasojevicki Kom (2460 m) beginning from Eko Katun on Stavna vast plateau, on N side belowe rocky massif of Kom Vasojevicki. The path continue belowe NW and W side of Kom Vasojevicki, crossing grassy and rocky areas. After approximately 2 hours of ascent, you will stay on beautiful Vera Pass (2200 m) which opens the views to the border mountains of Albania, specially to PROKLETIJE range and its highest peak Maja Jezerce (2694 m) which dominate in wider area. From there, path continue to the summit and very soon you'll have privilege to enjoy the most impressive and really amazing scenery of which you can whitness during Kom Vasojevicki climbing - high north rocky crest of Kom Vasojevicki and impressive eastern side of Kom Ljevorijecki (2469 m) behind. Soon, after few minutes, you will stay on final ridge, from where marked path leads to the summit of Kom Vasojecki (2460 m).

Beograd (Belgrade) airport in Serbia - Podgorica airport; then by bus or train to Kolasin, or by car to Tresnjevik and Eko Katun on Stavna plateau where you can rent private houses (25 euro per day for 5 persons, 5 euro per person daily).

Camping
Belowe the peaks of KOMOVI massif, on Stavna vasty plateau, you can find "Eko katun Štavna" (Ecological complex of houses for renting). There you have 10 houses for renting. Daily price for renting of one house is 40 Euro/8 Euro per person (each house has 5 beds, livingroom, bathroom and shower with warm water). Also, inside of Eko katun you can use the services of restaurant.
