Overview
Cima dell'Alberghetto lies between Cima del Coro and Cima dell'Orsa, on the divide line between Val Canali and Val d'Angheràz.
The first ascent of this mountain had done in 1895 by S. and F. Meurer, O. Schuster, L. Bernhard and G. Zecchini along the SW side, that one which look at Val Canali, the same of the normal route.
The normal route is quite difficult ( 2nd and 3rd degree ), and it's quite never gone. From Treviso Hut m 1631, in Val Canali, you must follow the path n. 707 in the direction of Passo Canali, up to you arrive under the SW wall of Cima dell'Alberghetto. You go up along a scree up to the base of the mountain and scramble along the central rib by the side of a dihedron. You must avoid a canal on the right subject to landslides and continue going up to a little cliff quite difficult. You overcome it and reach a superior canal that goes on the left. You go up along it up to a rib, you scramble it and go in a difficult little canal. When you reach the ridge over the pinnacle called " il Dito ", after few meters you arrive on the summit. To reach Treviso Hut you have to go to Trento or to Belluno, by train or by car, and go up to Fiera di Primiero, few Kilometers before San Martino di Castrozza. Now you go by car along the road that leads to Passo Cereda.
After few Kilometers you turn on the left and follow the road up to Cant del Gal, where you find two wonderful little hotels. You can go by car up to a parking in Val Canali, at 1300 m of altitude, and after you follow the path n. 707 that leads in h 1.00 to Treviso Hut.GearMedium mountain gear, rope and some friends and nuts.
