Overview

When we thing about Slivnica, probably the first mind get to witches. It is an old legend about, that on the summit of Slivnica it is good place for living (of course, only for witch). Way this came from history, we don’t know, but truly also Janez Vajkard Valvasor on 18.th century already wrote about.

But I reality, Slivnica is a nice hill with easy approach to the summit, ideal for families with small children’s. A nature is wonderful; on south side is Cerknica Lake with very different area under water during the year seasons.
