OverviewLocated one mile northwest of Hayden Pass, Mount Fromme is another of the five peaks (w/ Wellesley Peak, Sentinel Peak, Lost Peak, and Mount Claywood) which encircle the head of the Dosewallips River valley. Just to the north is Mount Claywood, highest of these peaks, separated from Fromme by a sculpted depression in which beautiful Claywood Lake is nestled. To the southeast streches a moderate ridge down to Hayden Pass which divides Mount Fromme from its close neighbor to the southeast, scenic Sentinel Peak. The trio of peaks along with Claywood Lake make for a great outing and the spectacular views are sure to please.
