OverviewThe Oberalpstock 3328m is a mountain in Switzerland, in the canton Uri, located in the Uri Alps. He's on the boarder of the
Swiss-cantons Uri and Gisons (Graubünden). This mountain is close-by the villages Disentis and Bristen in the beautiful Maderaner-valley.
To the east of the summit you find the glacier "Brunnifirn" and to the north the glacier "Staldenfirn".
The Rhaeto-Romanic name of the Oberalpstock is Piz Tgietschen.
Oberalpstock is a popular mountain in summer as well as in spring with ski. With ski is essential to have a minimal avalanche risk.

From the Cavardiras hut 2649m over the Brunnifirn and the south-east flank to the peak.

Ski tour route:
With the mountain railways of Disentis to the summit station Piz Ault 2770m. Traverse with ski to the bay by the point 2891m. There you can cross the ridge to attain the Brunnifirn (fixed ropes). Along with ski, up to Oberalpstock 3328m

From Chur (capital of Grisons) with train until Disentis 1130m. Than on a marked hiking trail to the Cavardiras hut 2649m
