OverviewThe Blinnenhorn 3374m is a mountain in Switzerland and Italy, in the canton Wallis and in the Lepontine Alps. This mountain is located in the south-west of the Nufenen-pass 2480m (Passo della Novena) on the border Switzerland/Italy. Blinnenhorn is close-by the lakes "Lago dei Sabbione" and "Griessee". The Italien name from the Blinnenhorn is Corno Cieco.
Blinnenhorn is a popular mountain in summer as well as in spring with ski.
To the north-east of the Blinnenhorn you find the glacier "Griesgletscher". The last glacier in the area, which has suffered heavily from global warming.
