Overview

There are three sets of "Twin Peaks" in the Salt Lake Valley. The American Fork Twin Peaks, the Broads Fork Twin Peaks, and the Avenue Twin Peaks. This pair of twin peaks are the easiest to climb of the three.

Although these peaks are very low in elevation comapred to the other Twin Peaks, the views of the valley are amazing from the summit. Both peaks are a short walk from one another.

These peaks are an excelent short climb, and can be hiked in all four seasons. Round-trip time is generally around 2hrs 30min for an average-paced hiker.

Getting There

There are many places/trailheads where you can start the hike up the avenues, but the two more popular ones are from the end of Terrace Hill Drive, and from Perry's Hollor Drive.
Refer to the Little Black Mountain page for information on how to get there.

Red Tape

Wasatch Foothills. No Fees (except for city creek canyon)
Dogs premitted, but must be on leash at all times.
